Amisha Patel‘s jaunt to Kolkata for a professional commitment yesterday morning turned out to be her worst nightmare. Amisha Patel was allegedly mistreated by airport security staff, leaving her indignant. She has now written a formal letter to the head of the security staff at the airport complaining about the same.
An eye witness who was in the airport early morning said, “
Amisha was at the security check around seven in the morning when she had an altercation with a woman at the security check. Amisha was polite but the lady was extremely rude; when
Amisha asked for a tray to place her bag in, the lady threw her bag. Amisha told her that the least she could do is smile and be polite. However the lady was in a grumpy mood and gave Amisha a piece of her mind.
Amisha was so annoyed that she went to speak to the head of the security staff. Here she was given an explanation that the lady had been working night shifts and was thus grumpy.
When Amisha requested that the least she could have done was to be polite, she was told that the security staff has an army background and so they are rude.
Amisha Patel insisted that she would complain against the lady who was rude to her and wrote about this incident and gave it to the security guard.”
The eye witness further wrote, “Amisha was seen talking to the officials of the airline which she was traveling with and they also voiced her opinion that the security staff was extremely rude. Amisha though expressed her doubts if the letter would do any good.”

Raima Sen, who has made a name for herself in the Bengali film industry as well as Bollywood with her offbeat roles, says she is ready to don a bikini on the silver screen if she finds the script of the movie fantabulous and demands her to go for it.
“I don’t like to wear a bikini on screen. I thank god that till date I haven’t got such roles where I need to wear a bikini because I don’t think wearing one will add glamour to the role, ” Raima, 30, told in a recent interview.
“But if a script comes to me and if it’s really a very, very good script and the role demands, then it’s okay wearing a bikini, ” said the star of such films as “Chokher Bali” and “Parineeta”.
Raima comes from an illustrious Bengali film family – her grandmother, legendary actress Suchitra Sen, was one of the most sought after in Bengali as well as Hindi movies. And her mother Moon Moon Sen was a yesteryear sex symbol. Her sister Riya too is active in Hindi movies.

Raima‘s beauty has often been compared to that of her grandmother’s.
“I feel honoured when people compare my looks with those of my grandmother, ” she said.
Raima made her debut in the film industry with a small role in the critically acclaimed Hindi movie “Godmother” in 1999. But her acting skills were overshadowed by the presence of Shabana Azmi who was the main protagonist.
She is open to all kinds of roles and is very keen to feature in period films.
Raima Sen is currently enjoying her new role as a judge on the kid’s dance reality show “Twinkle Twinkle Dancing Stars” on Bengali entertainment channel Mahuaa Bangla, but says her heart lies in acting.
“Yes, I am enjoying my new role as a judge of this dance reality show of kids. It’s a different thing altogether. But I must say one thing – my passion is acting.”

Salman Khan who is all set to be seen in brother Arbaaz Khan’s production ‘Dabang’, will next be seen working on brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri’s Hindi version of southern super hit ‘Bodyguard’. The Malayalam film, which was originally to be made in Hindi by Boney Kapoor, will now be produced by Atul Agnihotri after Salman personally asked Boney to hand over the reins to his beloved brother-in-law.
Buzz has it that Boney had bought the rights to remake the southern super hit and had even laid out all plans to get the film on floors. But after Salman personally requested the producer to hand over the rights to Atul Agnihotri, Boney obliged the actor’s demand with keenness.
Talking about the incident, a source told a daily, “Boney did not hesitate to give up remaking ‘Bodyguard’. He loves Salman too much and considers the actor’s wish as his command.”
Confirming the news, Boney said, “It’s fine if Atul will make it with Siddique. Salman was keen that Atul should make it and I have no issues whatsoever. I have not done anything great. I was simply on the verge of buying the rights of ‘Bodyguard’. Salman is family to me. I love fulfilling all his wishes and will always continue to do so.”

Actor Anuj Saxena’s production house Maverick’s film ‘One and Only’ which is going to mark the debut of Politician Ram Vilas Paswan’s son Chirag Paswan is having its twenty day long schedule in and around Mumbai.
The film stars Kangana Ranaut, Saagarika Gatge and Neeru Bajwa opposite Chirag Paswan and also has veterans like Poonam Dhillon, Vinod Khanna n Dalip Tahil playing prominent roles.
The film ‘One and only’ is being directed by Tanveer Khan. Music is by Sajid Wajid and lyrics are by Javed Akthar. Baba Azmi is the cinematographer.
Two songs and some emotional scenes will be canned during this 2nd schedule.
Maverick Productions had produced ‘Aloo Chaat’ starring Aftab Shivdasani and Aamna Shariff and film ‘Chase’ directed by Jag Mohan Mundhra and also co-presented the Shahrukh Khan and Sushmita Sen starrer ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ in the past.
Maverick has also produced regional films in different languages: ‘Gulumaal’ (Malayalam), ‘Naatheyo’ (Gujrati), and ‘Houseful’ (Kannada). Maverick’s latest Malayalam film which it is presenting, ‘Best of Luck’, is going to release next month.
